Mill Valley Tree House

Perched on a cross sloped site many people considered impossible to build on, this house, designed for the builder’s family, still represents much of my current thinking: simple structure, environmentally sensitive design and materials, and maximum design impact in a “right-size” home. It’s the epitome of a simple concept, well executed. To the owners, it’s a dream home. Construction by Englander Building Company.
